Activities
The Senior Center serves the community of Page by functioning as a focal point for adults (50 years of age and older) regardless of race, creed, or national origin. The Senior Center provides informational resources, meal program services, transportation service, and opportunities for education, travel, and socializing.
The Senior Center is administered by a nine member board. Current officers and members are:
To enhance the senior quality of life by nutrition, education, fellowship and leisure activities.
The Senior Center hosts a variety of activities including field trips, guest speakers, line dancing, exercise and educational opportunities to meet the interests of the participants.
The Meal Program serves homecooked meals daily, at noon, to dining room patrons and "Meals On Wheels" participants. The dining room is open to any age group. "Meals On Wheels" is available to homebound individuals who are 60+ in age. Reservations are required the day before the meal you wish to enjoy. If we are closed, an answering machine will take your name. The suggested Donation for 60 and older is $3.00. The cost for the meal from 50 to 59 ages is $3.50 and there is a $5.00 charge for anyone under the age of 50 to 5 years.
The meal program receives funding from participating seniors, DES, City of Page, Coconino County, NACOG-Northern Arizona Council of Governments and donations.
